What to Wear for your A&M Graduate Photoshoot
Taking the Traditional Path
From midnight yell to the century tree, Texas A&M is a place that revels in tradition.
As a photographer, I am always looking for creative ways to see beauty and showcase individuality. So this next statement may surprise you a bit. There is a reason you see many Texas A&M Seniors showing up in either white or black, and I think you should too. The reason is this- these students bleed maroon, and they want that pop of maroon to showcase their Aggie Spirit.
Yes, it can be done on different colors. Yes, you will still love the results. But the truth is this- show up at the Administration building on any evening between Spring Break and May 1st, and you will see a number of ladies and gentleman wearing either white or black. They bleed maroon and they want the world to see that pop of color.
Of course, I will not deny you your non-traditional wardrobe choices. But I believe that other locations showcase that best. The gardens at Texas A&M is a great place to have that wardrobe change and showcase your individuality. But if you are on military walk or at the admin building, you’ll want to bleed maroon.
